Using this website
You may read, print and share anything on this site. The hail data on our storm page comes from the National Weather Service, is public information, and you are welcome to reuse it; a link back is appreciated and not required. Our own text, photographs and layout remain ours, and we would rather you did not copy them wholesale onto a competing site.
What is on this site is information, not a quote
Every price range published here is a planning figure compiled from current market data and our own job book. It is not an offer, a quote or a contract. Your actual price comes in a written, itemised estimate after we have physically been on your roof, and only that written estimate binds either of us.
Estimates
Inspections and written estimates are free and carry no obligation. Estimates are valid for 30 days, after which material pricing may have moved. Decking replacement is quoted at a stated per-sheet rate because the quantity cannot be known until the existing roof is removed; the rate is fixed in the estimate even though the count is not.
Work, permits and scheduling
We pull the permits required for your jurisdiction and meet the inspector. Scheduling is weather-dependent and we will tell you when it slips rather than letting you find out by waiting in. Emergency and active-leak calls take priority over scheduled work, which occasionally means a planned job moves; we will always ring.
Warranties
Two, and they are separate. The manufacturer warrants the materials, on their terms, and we register that warranty in your name and send you the confirmation rather than telling you we filed it. We warrant our own workmanship, in writing, for the period stated on your estimate. Note that most manufacturer warranties are conditional on adequate attic ventilation, which is why we make a fuss about it.
Payment
Terms are set out in your written estimate. We do not require large deposits before material is on site. On insurance-funded work, payment schedules follow the claim, and we will explain how the two-payment structure on a replacement cost policy works before you sign anything.
Your rights under Missouri law
Missouri statute RSMo 407.725 governs roofing contracts paid from a property and casualty insurance claim. Under it: we may not pay or rebate any part of your deductible, we may not negotiate your claim on your behalf, and you may cancel an insurance-funded contract until midnight on the fifth business day after your insurer notifies you in writing that all or part of the claim is not a covered loss. Every insurance-funded contract we issue carries the required bold cancellation statement and the detachable NOTICE OF CANCELLATION form. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under that statute or any other Missouri consumer protection law.
Liability
We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation, and we will email the certificate the same day you ask. Nothing on this website creates a duty of care or a contractual relationship; that starts when you sign a written estimate. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of general information published here rather than on a written estimate for your specific property.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, and any dispute is subject to the courts of Greene County, Missouri.
